This Professional Watercolour Gift Set presented in a classic gift box, consists of six colours selected by Andrew Ludlow: Cadmium Yellow (a red shade yellow), Anthraquinone Crimson (a blue shade red), Cadmium Red (a yellow shade red), Ultramarine Blue (a red shade blue), Phthalocyanine Green (Yellow Shade) and Burnt Sienna.

These six colours can easily form the basis of a simple palette as mixing produces a broad spectrum of secondary hues. Furthermore, Andrew finds Cadmium Yellow, Anthraquinone Crimson and Ultramarine Blue are ideal for portrait painting as when they are layered (as in his watercolour portrait pictured), they give fine skin tones.
