This classic Chinese Brush pot has an interesting contemporary hexagonal shape. It has beautifully carved traditional flower design and can store a number of dry Chinese and Japanese Sumi-e brushes.

The three traditional Chinese Sable brushes are suitable for both Chinese brush and Japanese sumi-e painting. They are made from highly firm, but flexible dark sable hair, enabling the brushes to be good for ink painting and calligraphy. The brush selection includes small, medium and large sizes. The handles of these brushes are made of darkened bamboo and are a perfect shaped to fit comfortably in the hand for executing fluid brush strokes necessary for Chinese painting and calligraphy.
