The Sumi-e Cold Pressed fine-art paper pad comprises of 20 sheets of very absorbent cold pressed paper, suitable for Asian brush painting and calligraphy. Manufactured by the long established German papermaker, Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH, the paper has a weight of 80g/m ² (40lb) and each 24cm by 32cm sheet is glued along one long side and is separated in the pad by an interleaf sheet. The paper is acid free and age resistant.

The Traditional Chinese Painting Colours set consists of twelve 6ml tubes of colour, suitable for painting all types of oriental paintings. The colours in this set are: White (50), Gamboge (25), Cinnabar (52), Vermilion (51), Scarlet (19), Carmine (54), Rouge (53), Burnt Sienna (14), Emerald Green (55), Blue (56), Indigo (58), Midnight Blue (57).

Just paint the water on and the cloth darkens, as it dries the dark marks will just disappear, allowing the cloth to be used again and again; so it is good for the environment too!

The traditional Yellow Weasel Hair brushes are suitable for both Chinese brush and Japanese Sumi-e calligraphy and painting. They are of the finest quality and made from highly firm, but flexible yellow weasel hair, enabling the brush to be good for ink painting and calligraphy. The handles of these brushes are made of wood and are perfectly shaped to fit comfortably in the hand for executing fluid brush strokes necessary for Chinese painting and calligraphy. Like most Chinese brushes, these brushes have a loop on the end so that they can be hung from a brush stand to help facilitate natural drying.

The set of traditional Yellow Weasel Hair brushes comprises of three sizes, large, medium and small and they come in a roll-up Brush Wallet made of natural bamboo slats which absorb any moisture from wet brushes and prevents rotting.
