Isoindolinone Yellow Pure Pigment Powder (20g)

Using only the highest-quality pure pigment, our A J Ludlow Colours’ Isoindolinone Yellow powder is suitable for all home-made paint formulations, including water, oil and acrylic colours, as well as solvent-based acrylic or polycarbonate resins.

Grind the pigment with A J Ludlow’s Binder and Painting medium to make home-made watercolours or alternative binding mediums, including drying oils for oil colours and oil-based paints and for three-dimensional work, solvent-based acrylic or polycarbonate resins. For home-made acrylic colours, the pigment should be ground into a wetting and dispersing additive first, in order to stabilise the pigment in the acrylic emulsion.

The isoindolinone pigments are part of the azo family of dyes and pigments derived from synthetic compounds that are characterised by the presence of one or more azo groups. Isoindolinone Yellow is a bright and intense red shade yellow, which is permanent and light stable.
