Mitchell Slippon Reservoir

The Mitchell Slippon Reservoir is for use with William Mitchell's Round hand nibs .

Using a reservoir extends the working time in between re-loading the dip pen with watercolour or ink. It allows a full, even flow of ink when used.

Before use for the first time, it is important to soak the reservoir in boiling water to remove its protective coating.

Established in 1825, William Mitchell has had a long history of making pen nibs. He became one of the leading nib manufacturers and is famous for lettering pens. William Mitchell established his business in Birmingham during the early part of the nineteenth century and is still manufacturing there.
