These paints can be used as supplied or diluted and can be mixed with other Artdeco Ebru paints.

The bottle comes with a dropper, so that the paint can be easily transferred for dilution or mixing to produce other colours. However, if the paint is dispensed direct from the bottle's dropper, the droplet may be too large to spread across the surface of the medium and so will sink to the bottom of the bath. It is recommended to apply the paint to the surface of the medium using the tip of a needle tool or by gentle sprinkling using a brush.

These paints can be used on a number of porous surfaces, including cotton and other fabrics, wood, etc. without the need of a fixative.
