A tutored watercolour painting with a glass of sparkling Prosecco and afternoon tea is the perfect combination for a relaxing and creative afternoon. Imagine spending a few hours in a beautiful and inspiring studio overlooking the busy Milford Haven waterway, with vibrant watercolours laid out in front of you, ready for you to start creating your own watercolour painting, then afterwards an indulgent treat to enjoy, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the pleasures of life!

All ready to start painting at the A J Ludlow Colours Watercolour Painting-café.

Our experienced tutor will lead you through the essential Watercolour painting techniques, such as, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and colour mixing to master this versatile painting medium. On top of that you will learn how to select materials to quickly enhance your painting skills, helping and inspiring you to go on and produce your own watercolour paintings. Then when you are ready to take a break from your artistic endeavours, a glass of sparkling Prosecco, its delicate bubbles rising gracefully to the surface is served along with a selection of freshly home-prepared sandwiches, home baked Welsh cakes and scones, still warm from the oven, accompanied by clotted cream and delicious strawberry jam.

This painting experience is suitable for participant at all abilities. Whether you have already experienced watercolour painting or if this will be the first time you have picked up a paint brush, you will find the expertly designed painting experience fun, delightful and relaxing.

All the art materials you need will be provided as part of our painting experience, as we passionately believe that you will have a more rewarding experience if you use top-notch watercolour paints, paper and brushes.

About the Watercolour Painting Experience Gift Certificate:

The Gift Certificate is valid for one year from the date of purchase;

The date and time of the Watercolour Painting Experience must be booked in advance;

The Gift Certificate allows one person to attend a 2-hour tutored watercolour painting session in the art studio at A J Ludlow Colours Watercolour Painting-café and includes all watercolour art materials needed for the Watercolour Painting Experience;

The sandwiches are prepared with a choice of two fillings from our painting-café’s menu;

The Watercolour Painting Experience is primarily aimed at adults. Children* are welcome, but they must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult;

The Gift Certificate cannot be exchanged for cash, but in the unlikely event that a convenient time cannot be scheduled before the expiry date, the value of £65 can be used in the purchase of items from A J Ludlow Colours Gallery and Art Supplies Shop in Llanreath, Pembroke Dock. This must be done before the Gift Certificate’s expiry date;

It should be noted that the A J Ludlow Colours Watercolour Painting-café is reached by a short flight of 14 steps and parking is limited to street parking on St Patricks Hill, Llanreath, Pembroke Dock.

Please note that our scones and Welsh cakes are home-baked and contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.
